Sindh Education Foundation SEF

Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) is the administrative department of Ministry of Education of Sindh government, which was set up under Sindh Education Foundation Act 1992. This semi autonomous organization has the mandate to improve the standard of education in the public and private schools of Sindh province. SEF provides the trainings to the teachers, when it inducts the teachers with the introduction of IT education at different levels to cope with the modern standards. SEF also manages the parent and teacher meetings to discuss the education system, policy and procedure of improvement of education in the schools at the primary and middle class levels and this meeting helps in finding the actual issues being hindered the students to get quality education.
SEF starts the registration of the class 5 and 8 students every year well before the annual exams start. The heads of the government are advised to submit the admission forms of the grade 5 and 8 students of their schools to the office of SEF within prescribed dates and get them registered in 2025 with the SEF. The SEF manages the class V and VIII annual exams every year by setting up the exams centers near to the residences of the students. The appointment of the exams staff, issue of date sheet of exams and roll no slips of the students and carryout whole process of exams and finally prepares the results of the exams, are prime duties of SEF.
